Two weeks ago record producer Don Jazzy and founder of Mavin Records found a young guy on Instagram and contacted him to record a song. He goes by the name of Godwyn, a young talented guitarist who was randomly contacted by one his idols and the biggest producer in Africa. Godwyn took this one in a lifetime opportunity and made his way to the Mavins recording studio.
Don Jazzy is the genius behind many hits like Oliver Twist by Dbanj and Dorobucci by Mavins.
This is the first song Godwyn has ever recorded and to have Doroboss as the producer is defiantly a dream come true and a jump start to Godwyn’s music career. The song features Di’ja who is originally from Sierra Leon and she’s signed to Mavin Records.
Maybe Godwyn might get a record deal soon, time will tell. However, we look forward to hearing more from this young man because he has a unique style that is missing in the industry. He’s a breath of fresh air.
