Superstar Neo-Soul/R&B singer Erykah Badu flooded Twitter Timelines this evening when she, and other accounts, shared the link to her remake of Drake’s catchy new single, “Hotline Bling.”

Erykah made the song her own by adding her sweet serenading sounds we all fell in love with over a decade ago. Her fans couldn’t be more excited!

It is it safe to assume Ms. Badu and Drake are no strangers to each other’s musical crafts. Last year, with the lyrics “we talked about love and what life could really mean for me,” the rapper mentions conversations held between the two at her house over tea. Hopefully, the song “HOTLINE BLING BUT YOU CAINT USE MY PHONE” is a glimpse of what’s to come in the near future. We surely wouldn’t mind a collaboration from the two artists, or even a mixtape from The Queen, herself.
